We live in Texas where summers are beastly hot, making helmets uncomfortable to wear. Thankfully, the Dakota is lightweight & surprisingly cool. Safety 1st!!! My wife had a serious horse accident in November, 2007. However, she never lost her love for and desire to ride. We're riding again, but this time with helmets. We bought the Sierra helmets for both of us and use them any time we're on our horses. We live in Corrales, New Mexico and the helmets are comfortable in both the winter and the summer. Very light weight and adjustable to fit me or older grandchild. I have used it for several years. At first I cringed at the expense of it but find it was well worth it as it is the most comfortable helmet I have worn. Rate this product 5 What did you like about it? How did you use it?
